My favourite Scottish food...mmm...

HAGGIS! My favourite. Ever tried it? Even though it sounds *yuck*, it's not. It's deicious!

You normally eat it with potatoes (known as tatties in Scotland). My relatives and I had 2 and a half Kg of it. Along with the tatties and neeps (turnips) and carrots. Dessert was banoffee pie (banana and toffe pie). It was braw.

I was out shopping today. I found these T-shirts with Scottish words with its meanings. There was one where it said "Eejit" which means that you're a simpleton. Practically all the words were bad except for one, "braw". I'm sure you've already guessed the meaning. Good. The others that I can think of right now is "Numpty", "Fitba'" (no, it doesn't mean football) and some other nasty words.

The haggis is actually inside. The thing that it's wraped in is sheep's stomache. You don't eat that.
