I'm in Scotland!!!

I am here. I have arrived safely. Yay! See you around in about 5 weeks! Will definately blog the nice events.

So far, today, I went to my Aunt's allotment to pick on raspberries and blackcurrents. The raspberries are very nice. I'm drinking the smoothie right now :P. The food here is delicious. Yum! I've weighed myself, and guess what? I've already put on half a Kg! Arghh! Hope I don't put on any more!

Phew! It's all over! Now I can enjoy the holidays. The examiner was pretty good. He didn't seem to be really strict. He was a music director and was in the rock indusrty! How cool is that? Haha. When I was playing my scales, I could see my finger shaking! As in like really really shaking. I just hope that I will pass. Let's pray that the examiner is very merciful. Oh! Ming Han: Good luck in your piano exam!

High School Musical part 2

I know I'm uploading videos like crazy...but I think this song from High School Musical is cool. The move are ok too. Haha! It might be lame to you...

Oh yes! Seng Chor has asked me to record the time I spent with baby Jordan. Haha. So...I carried Jordan yesterday! Lol.

By the way...that's not me holding Jordan. I think this was in camp...

So...what do you think "Yamaksi" is? No idea? Well, it's a name for a french show. Haha! Bet you thought it was a Japanese show.
It's really really cool! There are these 7 dudes and they can...well...they can do amazing stuff. They mostly scale buildings. It's really cool. they seem to have "special powers" but it's not exactly like that.

Doulos

Sorry this post is a bit late...but oh well! On Saturday, the Youth Voltage went to visit Doulos (do I put "the" Doulos or just Doulos?). It was HOT! I'm telling you, I was practically baking under the sun (and shade). The bookshop was really cramped. And I didn't buy anything on the ship except for ice cream. Haha! Yes, but I couldn't really finish it so gave it to Chung En, who I'm sure was very happy to recieve it :P. Anyway, for more, visit:

Well...today was the last day of school-year 10. There were feelings of ups and downs (and perhaps sideways). Memorable events, painful events, sad events happy events, you name it. Overall, I love this year (well of course except for all the studying and all that crap).

I'll miss all my friends-old and new. you guys must keep in contact over the summer, ok? I've had a awesome year with you lot. It's good we've had fun this year because our IGCSEs are next year. Not forgetting our mocks and work experience. It will be more stressful next year than this year.

For those of you who are leaving (especially Misaki), I'll miss you loads! I promise to keep in touch, ok? Love ya!

Well, I just don't know what to say, actually. I'll just put up some photos...

Umm...the blog won't let me upload any more photos...so it's going to be in the next post...

The llama song

Here's a llama
There's a llama
And another little llama
Fuzzy llama
Funny llama
Llama llama
Duck
Llama llama
Cheesecake
Llama llama
Tablet
Brick
Potato
Llama
Llama Llama
Mushroom
Llama
Llama llama
Duck
I was once a tree house
I lived in a cake
But I never saw the way
The orange slayed the rake
I was only three years dead
But it told a tale
And now listen, little child
To the safety rail
Did you ever see a llama
Kiss a llama
On the llama
Llama's llama
Tastes of llama
Llama llama
Duck
Half a llama
Twice a llama
Not a llama
Farmer
Llama
Llama in a car
Alarm a llama
Llama
Duck
Is that how it's told
Is it all so old
Is it made of lemon juice
Doorknob
Ankle Cold
Now my song is getting thin
I've ran out of luck
Time for me to retire now
And become a duck

Football. Get's the world talking.

Tried to wake up and watch the finals for football. But I couldn't because of the party. I was hoping that France would win. But they didn't. So I guess it's a congratulations to Italy. Obviously Ju stayed up to watch it because she wasn't in school today.

This world cup went by quite fast, in my opinion. Faster than what I could remember four years ago.

Haha! Glad to know the "older" people can read what I'm typing now.

The poolside party yesterday was really really fun. Loads of people were there. But when I arrived, no one was swimming! So I asked people, "Why aren't people swimming?" And guess what they tried to do? Push ME into the pool! Luckily I resisted. Su En was pushed in first and then it was Chung En and John (I think). But I don't know which order it was in. I was next. So many people tried to push me in! The first person who attempted to push me in was Hui En and then Ming Han who both failed. Haha! Then when John came out from the pool, and grabbed a hold of me and (man he had a strong grip...or was that someone else?) and people came to join in. How unfair! :P. There was John, Roy, Kevin, Hui En and some other people. But I heard that when Ming Han saw I was being thrown in, he came running, screaming, "I'm coming, I'm coming!" and then slipped. Haha! I can imagine him doing that.

After most of us were thrown in, we proceeded to the bigger pool. We mucked around for some time: carrying each other on our backs and every other crazy thing you can think of at the pooside. After about half an hour of doing that, we played water captainball. It was cool.

Then we ate. Yummy! There was pizza, speghetti, chicken wings, sandwiches and other stuff. Then people started changing. The youth celebrated Chung En's birthday (which is actually today) with a jelly cake. Haha! It was a sun with a smiley face on it. Looked so cute! Too bad it had to be cut up.

Guess what? My sister pushed me into the pool. And I was already dry! I was so mad.

For some reason, Hui En started to wrestle with me. I have no idea why. I tried to come free but couldn't. So guess what happened? She pulled me down two steps and fell on top of me. I fell on my back (which now has a huge bruise) and I scraped my left elbow really badly. There's a bruise there too. My blood was gushing out so bad. And John said, "Don't get too close to Michelle because she might have AIDs." And I was like, "What? I soo do not have AIDs!" That was kind of funny. Hui En escaped with a scrape (not as bad as mine) on her knee.

I really enjoyed the party. I want to thank the organisers (which was probably John and Wan Yi) and the hosts (again...John and Wan Yi) for letting the youth and I have such a great time. Well...except for that fall of course...that wasn't nice. It was great to having to meet all the Copa IBA people again and those who went for the Orang Asli mission trip. It was AWESOME!!!

Debating? How boring.

As you can see...I have changed my font colour to...to...what colour is this? Somewhere inbetween purple and pink, I guess.

Anyway. Instead of having English class today, The whole of year 10 watched our year's interhouse debate (Queen vs. Chancellor). It was really boring. The topic was abortion and you could hear the word s*x nearly every minute. Honestly? I was nearly dropping off to sleep. But then again I couldn't as I was sitting on the floor (as was everyone else).

After school, everyone recieved their reports and the year book. The year book was nicely covered. One of the best, in my opinion. A painting of a rose and on the back, another painting of a rose but this time in jigsaw pieces. Very nice. I guess my report turned out OK. I only had one "2" in my report. Guess for which subject? What else but PE? By the way, a 2 is satisfactory (this was in the attainment column).

After school, I went to May's house (Pei Fang, this is the girl who likes Se7en). Haha. I had a lot of fun. We played this computer game where you had to find these little jelly men. Obviously, I sucked in it. She also showed me some movies (of Tami in the gym) and voice clips of me that she thought was funny (from MSN). OH! She showed me pictures of C*. (Sorry May for saying this...) He was hot. I totally understand you now, May...hehe!

Don't you think it is amazing how much people change over a few years? I mean, just look at the photos:

The smaller picture is of (CW) me, Denise, Lesley, Lydia, Kirsten and Rachelle. The bigger picture is of us five again with Hui En and Min Li included. I know you can't really see the differences. But trust me, we all look different.

This was me when I was about 1-ish (in London) and me now. How different!

One last example is this: Julia (my best friend since year 2) and I. I know, I know. Sorry about the poor quality. The smaller photo was taken in year 3, I think and the bigger photo was taken last year (year 9). And yes, I have edited it, for fun.

I personally find it amazing how much time flies. I mean before I know it, I will be in college. Then I'll be away from home in University. I'll probably find a job next and then get married after that. I just can't keep up with the times nowadays (not that I'm old or anything like that). It just goes *ZOOM*! And it's GONE!

Copa IBA

OK. So yesterday was Copa IBA. I think we didn't do too bad.

All the teams met at Ming Han's house 6:30 am. I only had about 5 hours of sleep. When I reached at Ming Han's house, I saw Jean! Yep. I saw Ms. Veet. Haha! She just woke up, I think. Anyway, BUC's teams were the first few teams to reach there. There were actually teams from Ipoh. Amazing. They had to like get up at about 2 am or something like that. It's kind of a disadvantage, actually.

Yep. So after about half an hour all the teams had assembled on the feild according to Churches. Then a man from Agape Chapel shared the Gospel. I think were a few responses. It was already getting really hot. It was still in the morning. Probably around 8-ish?

After the sharing, people started to warm up and everything. Ernie and I had a referee briefing. Haha! Everyone couldn't believe that I was an assistant referee. It wasn't that hard a job! When I told Pei Fang, she was like *stares*. Well, ok...referee-ing was kind of hard...a bit. But it was OK with Ernie as the main referee. We had to referee all the junior group 2s. Haha! Whenever someone called me "Ref", I didn't know they were actually talking to me. It was so hard to get use to it. Blowing the whistle was fun though :P. You can hear the winning team cheering because they won. It's always nice to hear someone cheering (better if it were BUC though!). The scores of Group 2 were so...so..."different". There was this one match where the score was 13-nil! Can you believe it???

Anyway...my Church sent in one junior captainball and one senior captainball team, two floorball teams, one ultimate frisbee team and three football teams. For the official results, you can visit: http://www.copaiba.blogspot.com/

Our junior captainball team made it to the semi-finals. I was quite happy actually because every year, they have improved. Two years ago, the juniors (this included me) didn't even make it to the quarter-finals. Last year we did, and now this year was yet another step up. Even the senior team improved! They got into the quarter finals this year. As for the other teams, I'm not so sure.

I guess I made a lot of new friends. Like Yvonne and Adrain. Copa IBA isn't all about playing sports and winning (or losing). But it's also about making new friends. As the motto of this year is "friends first"!

If you want to ask me why I didn't play for the senior captainball team (which by right I am in now), my answer is because there weren't enough spaces. The "left-overs" were Jia Hua and I. If you want to ask me why I became assistant referee, it's because there was a short of referees and I didn't exactly have much to do and it I would be an aissistant referee to someone familiar (Ernie).

Anymore questions...???
